Flying to a unknown destination brings up so much excitement in a person. I have been to Canada before, but only to visit the city of Montreal. So with little previous knowledge I had of being in Canada and the few articles I had read about the basics of Canadian life, I hopped onto an airplane to meet a large part of the Fulbright TGC Participants at Newark Airport. Being able to meet people who you met virtually two years ago and connect with is such a magical thing and when I walked over to the gate, I immediately saw a group of people waiting with each other who just gave off that indescribable “teacher vibe.” After one final flight we landed in Toronto and took a shuttle to our hotel and with it being so late - bed was the only thing in order for the first evening - but the excitement of actually being on our Fulbright was already a buzz between all of us.

This was definitely a special day. I remember the "teacher vibe" group as well, what's more awesome than a group of traveling teachers?!
